The Youth and Child alcohol and other drugs program have a counsellor and Registered Nurse We offer a Child and Youth service that provides counselling and support to young people aged 10–19 who are experiencing alcohol or other drug-related difficulties themselves, or who are affected by someone else’s use within their household. Service description

We can meet you at our office or in a space that is safe and comfortable. We work to provide integrated care through working with other service providers. This could be your General Practitioner, School, Mental Health Worker, Aboriginal Worker, Justice Worker or anyone else who is important to your treatment. Our model is to work with your strengths to increase safety and empower you to make better choices. We provide comprehensive assessment which includes a health assessment, brief intervention and counselling and assistance with drug withdrawal and or reduction.

Eligibility

Service supports 10 – 19 year olds who have alcohol and other substance issues or are impacted by a significant other/s alcohol and other substance use.
