The support options we may offer include mental health treatment and counselling, peer work, drugs and alcohol support, family support, care navigation, culturally sensitive care and guidance navigating the mental health system.

Wagga Wagga Medicare Mental Health Centre (MMHC)
MMHC provides evidence-based assessment, care coordination, information, support and treatment to individuals experiencing psychological distress.
MMHCWW offers free, short-term mental health support, therapy, peer support, counselling, care coordination and GP services.
Operating Hours
- Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri: 9am-5pm
- Thurs: 9am – 7pm
- Saturday Mornings: 9am – 1pm
- Sunday Mornings: 9am – 1pm
Eligibility Criteria
- Adults aged 16 years and over with moderate to high levels of mental health need or in distress can access short to medium term supports through our service.
- Anyone can walk into our Wagga centre and receive care navigation support.
- Anyone can access support through the National phone line (1800 595 212) or by calling 02 6453 4440
Referral Process
- Walk-ins welcome.
- Referrals can be made via Medicare Mental Health National Phone Service on 1800 595 212 which is available weekdays 8.30am-5pm, (excluding public holidays).
- Services can refer to MMHC by emailing can@mphn.org.au or waggawaggammhc@gph.org.au
- GP referrals and Mental Health Treatment Plans can be emailed to waggawaggammhc@gph.org.au
