Wagga Wagga Medicare Mental Health Centre (MMHC)

MMHC provides evidence-based assessment, care coordination, information, support and treatment to individuals experiencing psychological distress.

MMHCWW offers free, short-term mental health support, therapy, peer support, counselling, care coordination and GP services.

Operating Hours

• Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri: 9am-5pm
• Thurs: 9am – 7pm
• Saturday Mornings: 9am – 1pm
• Sunday Mornings: 9am – 1pm

Eligibility Criteria

• Adults aged 16 years and over with moderate to high levels of mental health need or in distress can access short to medium term supports through our service.
• Anyone can walk into our Wagga centre and receive care navigation support.
• Anyone can access support through the National phone line (1800 595 212) or by calling 02 6453 4440

Referral Process

• Walk-ins welcome.
• Referrals can be made via Medicare Mental Health National Phone Service on 1800 595 212 which is available weekdays 8.30am-5pm, (excluding public holidays).
• Services can refer to MMHC by emailing can@mphn.org.au or waggawaggammhc@gph.org.au
• GP referrals and Mental Health Treatment Plans can be emailed to waggawaggammhc@gph.org.au

Cost of Service

• Free (NDIS or Medicare Card is NOT required)
