headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation that helps young people between the ages of 12 and 25 who are going through a confusing or tough time.  headspace is a place where young people can get confidential health advice, support and information across the following four areas:

  • Physical health
  • Mental health
  • Alcohol and other drugs
  • Work and study assistance

Eligibility

  • headspace services are available to young people aged 12-25 years experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns. headspace Griffith also offers support to young people experiencing complex needs and/or who are at greater risk of hospitalisation.  If a young person would like support through headspace, simply call our service, a referral can then be taken over the phone. Referrals can come from individuals, other services/agencies and general practitioners. Please note the young person  must consent to the referral.All services are free of charge.
