Service Description

Supporting families with children and young people identify their strengths and needs, working towards creating and maintaining a safe home.

Eligibility Criteria

The Family Preservation Program offers support to families with at least one child under the age of 18, or parents who are pregnant.

It specifically targets:
• Parental and child mental health/trauma
• Parental drug and alcohol misuse
• Domestic and family violence
• Parenting challenges
• Child Behavioral issues

Referral Process

Referrals are predominately made by DCJ but can also be made directly to Mission Australia by health services, community services, family members, self referrals or other community organisations.
